His Name

Meditation
Just days after leading Israel through the Red Sea, the Lord revealed another part of His heart. He revealed His Name: “I am the LORD that healeth thee.” This is the beautiful covenant name Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals.
Healing is not merely something God does. Healing flows from who He is.
Throughout Scripture, God's names reveal His character. He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He is Jehovah Shalom, our Peace. He is Jehovah Nissi, our Banner. And He is Jehovah Rapha, our Healer.
As you sit at the Father's table today, remember that His healing touches every part of our lives. He heals wounded hearts. He restores weary souls. He strengthens tired bodies. He comforts anxious minds. He renews hope.
Sometimes His healing comes suddenly. Sometimes it comes through the wisdom of physicians and the gift of medicine. Sometimes it comes through a patient journey where His grace sustains us day by day.
In every season, His heart toward His children remains the same. He is compassionate. He is faithful. He is near.
Today, fix your eyes not only on what you are believing God to do, but on who He has revealed Himself to be. His Name is still trustworthy. His character has never changed.
A Seat at the Father’s Table
Father, today I worship You as Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. Thank You that Your heart toward me is filled with compassion, mercy, and steadfast love.
Whether You strengthen me, restore me, comfort me, or carry me through this day, I trust Your heart because I know Your character. Teach me to rest in who You are.
Thank You for the gift of Your presence. Thank You for the wisdom You give to those who care for me. Thank You for Your sustaining grace that is new every morning.
Today I place my life into Your loving hands and rest in the assurance that You are faithful in all Your ways. In the precious name of Yeshua, Amen.
