His Presence

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Meditation
The Father's first promise is not that every circumstance will immediately change. His first promise is Himself.
Before He speaks of strength, He says, “I am with thee.” His presence is the foundation upon which every other promise rests.
The Hebrew word for “with” is immakh, meaning to be alongside, accompanying, never leaving. This is covenant language. God is not watching from a distance—He is drawing near and remaining with His child.
Today, your Father is not asking you to figure out tomorrow. He is inviting you to trust Him today. He knows every concern before you speak it. He sees every tear before it falls. He understands every question before it reaches your lips.
His promise is not simply that He will give you strength. His promise is that He Himself will be your strength.
As you sit at His table today, allow His presence to quiet your heart. Let His peace become greater than your fears. Let His love become stronger than your worries.
Rest in this truth: The God who holds the universe is holding you.
A Seat at the Father’s Table
Father, today I come to Your table just as I am. I bring You my questions, my concerns, my hopes, and my heart.
Thank You that I do not have to pretend to be strong in Your presence. Thank You that before You ask anything of me, You first remind me that You are with me.
Today I receive Your peace. I receive Your strength. I receive Your comfort. I receive Your love.
Teach me to rest in Your presence and to trust that You are working in ways I cannot yet see. I choose to place this day into Your hands. Thank You for holding me securely with Your righteous right hand.
